Full family sessions are around one hour. I do not like to rush through the session as I want to make sure that I create a great experience for you.

How I Click
Before the session I'd like to get to know you and your family and understand what the perfect session would be for you.
During the shoot I aim to capture the feelings and emotions of everyday life while engaging with you and letting the moments happen naturally. I will guide you through poses but I will also step back and let you be you.
My sessions are relaxed, fun and easy, as if we were hanging out. Sometimes you may be talking amongst yourselves and forget that I am even there. I love a good candid photo!
No worries! We all do because in the every day world we do not have a camera in our faces. My number one tip is - if you do feel nervous just look at your children and talk or play with them. It generally takes the pressure off you and then you forget that the camera is even there. I am also known to tell corny jokes to ease any nervousness. Be prepared to for these!
what if I get nervous during the session?
You can choose the location or I can provide suggestions. I would recommend choosing a familiar place that may have significance to you and your family. I specialize in outdoor shoots but can always shoot indoors if you would prefer. If you do not have a specific place in mind I will incorporate your ideas and find the perfect backdrop!
I like to shoot outdoors in the early morning when the light is soft or right before sunset to capture the beautiful glowing light. If we are shooting at your home, I'd recommend anytime where there is enough light in the house as I only shoot with natural lighting.
I suggest that you coordinate the color tones but do not match individuals’ outfits too closely.
For a group portrait I recommend using three colors that have similar tones. For example: dark green, navy, and burgundy are darker tones, while grey, taupe and denims are lighter softer tones.
If you need more styling inspiration please check out my Pinterest page. If you need additional help I can walk you through some styling tips.
Once you book your session, I send my clients a session prep guide that has helpful information and that covers all clothing questions.
Scheduling should be 3 weeks in advance as I need time to work with you to create the perfect session. I work in all five boroughs and can be flexible if you are outside NYC. Once a session is booked we will schedule a call or meet in person to plan the location, wardrobe, and discuss your children’s schedules. I can also answer any questions that you may have.
I love this part of meeting each family and getting to know you.
When you are ready to book, please fill out the Connect section!
A cloudy day is okay to shoot (it’s actually my favorite weather) but if the weather is raining or snowing heavily then we will reschedule our session. Before our session I am literally checking the weather non stop so if the weather looks bad to shoot then I will reach out to you to schedule another date.
That is not a problem and I would never want you to be sick in front of the camera. Please make sure to text or call me two hours before our schedule time so I have the heads up.
When you book I require a 50% non-refundable deposit which I will hold and apply to the rescheduled date.
what if i get sick or if my child isn’t feeling well?
The turnaround time for each session is 3 weeks. You will receive a password protected email that will give you access to a gallery to view all your photos. I will always ensure that you are happy with your photos.
For a full family session, you will receive 40 beautifully edited digital images. But I am known to give more because I want you to have as many photos to remember the special day!
How many photos do I receive in a family session?
I am not happy until you are happy so I will work with you to make it right!

I love maternity shoots. It's an amazing time for a woman and I always feel honored to capture these special moments. The best time is usually around the 32-35 weeks when the Bump has rounded out and you can still move comfortably. But of course, it’s up to you and your comfort level.
